What are the main benefits of the ePaper?

The ePaper combines web-based delivery with the look and feel of the industry’s leading newspaper. Users can flick through the paper, print the entire edition with one click, view articles in text and newspaper format, save articles to a clippings basket and search by issue.

Do I need to be a Lloyd's List Online subscriber to access the ePaper?

Current Lloyd’s List online subscribers will have free access to the ePaper, but non-subscribers can purchase a weekly edition package. To purchase an ePaper package please click on the BUY button when you are in the issue you wish to purchase.

How do I access articles?

The home page of the ePaper will always be the front page of the latest issue. The article will be highlighted if you hover over with the mouse and a single left click will open up a window with the login prompt. Once details have been entered you will see the article in text view with the option to see the article in newspaper view.

How do I navigate through the pages of the ePaper?

There are three ways to navigate through the ePaper. The quickest way is via the ‘Next Page’ button in the grey toolbar above and below the ePaper. You can also scroll through the thumbnails on the right of the ePaper or choose the appropriate page from the page dropdown on the grey toolbar.

How do I search for articles?

Click the search button on the top navigation and a dropdown search box will appear. Select this issue or my issues and enter your search terms.

What are the system requirements for the ePaper?

Lloyd’s List ePaper has been designed as a platform-independent portal. Viewing issues online requires no additional software or plug-in installation. It works on Windows and Macintosh systems. However,there are these minimum technical requirements for you to consider:

  • Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Vista
  • Internet Explorer 6.0+ or Firefox 2.0+ or Netscape 7.2+ - with cookies enabled
  • Internet connection (broadband highly recommended)
  • 1024 x 768 (or higher) screen resolution for optimal viewing

Where has the View All Headlines page gone?

All the Headlines from the issue selected can be viewed by clicking on the Headlines tab in the top navigation bar next to the logo.

How many articles can I save to My Articles?

All ePaper users can clip up to a maximum of 50 articles. A warning notice will appear if this limit is exceeded.

Can I search for articles older than 7 days?

Lloyd's List online subscribers have access to only the last 5 editions or 7 days . If you have brought a weekly ePaper package you will continuously have access to the editions purchased.

Am I allowed to distribute ePaper clippings?

All Lloyd's List articles have full copyright attached and republication for internal or external purposes is strictly forbidden. For more information on permissions and copyright please contact epaper@lloydslist.com.

Am I allowed to download and store images?

All images used in the Lloyd’s List ePaper are protected by copyright and cannot be stored, distributed or reproduced in any format.

If you encounter a bug?

Lloyd’s List welcomes bug reporting and will endeavour to fix the problem as soon as possible If you encounter a bug send an email to epaper@lloydslist.com with the following information:

  • the url you were viewing when you encountered the error , what you were trying to do, and what happened.
  • the time and date you encountered the bug. This will help us to identify bugs relating to any changes or updates we make over time
  • the type and version of internet browser you were using
  • the PC/Mac and operating system you were using
