LLOYD’S List has taken another step forward in its online publishing strategy, with this ePaper, a fully-featured digital edition, available to subscribers and new readers on a ‘pay as you go’ basis.
The ePaper replicates the newspaper pages, allowing subscribers to get the same experience as readers of the hard-copy edition.
But it also offers additional functionality, including the ability to email and print stories and to save them to a clippings folder, enabling readers to compile their own limited archive of Lloyd’s List content. Subscribers can also choose to print some or all of the edition.
This innovative new service combines web-based delivery with the look and feel of the maritime industry’s leading newspaper.
Online and ePaper subscribers will be able to see articles, images and adverts as they appear in print, through a web-based interface developed by our in-house team.
The ePaper marks a change both in Lloyd’s List’s market-leading web delivery and to the subscription model, encouraging more readers to subscribe for short periods.
A secure, online credit card payment facility has been developed to allow ePaper package buyers to receive immediate access.
The ePaper is available to current Lloyd’s List internet subscribers at no additional cost and also as a five edition package at £40 including magazines and supplements.
We think the design and ease of use of our new service provides an improved platform for both subscribers and advertisers.
As always Lloyd’s List welcomes your feedback at email epaper@lloydslist.com.
